Please join the fine folks at Catwalk,for an art reception and opening featuring Lorraine Toler, with her series “The Last Queen of Korea.” Thursday, June 21st from 5-8pm.
Catwalk is located at 1734 Pacific Avenue, on the UWT campus, just across the street from the Tacoma Art Museum.

Lorraine Toler presents the Last Queen of Korea: A series of paintings about the Empress Myeongseong(Queen Min), 1851-1895. Queen Min was the wife of Gojong, the twenty-sixth king of the Joseon dynasty.
Queen Min was an unlikely political powerhouse, and responsible for opening Korea to the west and the modern Kora that exists today.
